Tottenham Hotspur captain Son Heung-min has admitted he remains disappointed with his team’s performance levels, despite fighting back from 2-0 down to secure a draw against AFC Bournemouth in the Premier League.
Son Heung-min Delivers Blunt Verdict After Tottenham’s Draw Against Bournemouth – ‘Not Good Enough’

Following Spurs’ Europa League defeat to AZ Alkmaar, Son described the result as a “big wake-up call” and “very disappointing”.
For a while, it seemed as though another loss was on the cards when James Tavernier and Evanilson put Bournemouth in a commanding position. However, conceding twice appeared to spark Spurs into life, as Pape Matar Sarr quickly pulled a goal back.
Son then salvaged a point for his side after being brought down in the penalty area by Kepa Arrizabalaga. The South Korean made no mistake from the spot, sending the Chelsea loanee the wrong way to level the match and ensure a share of the spoils in North London.
After the game, Son was asked by Sky Sports whether the comeback could be seen as a positive, but he was in no mood to take encouragement from the result.
“I am still very disappointed and very frustrated not to have taken all three points,” he said. **“When you play at home, you expect to win.
“Obviously, Bournemouth are a really good side—especially this season, they have been outstanding. But still, a 2-2 draw does not feel good enough for us, and we just have to keep going.”**
The result leaves Tottenham in 13th place, but they could drop to 14th if Manchester United defeat Arsenal in the late Premier League kick-off.
