The Singer/Songwriter Has Become A Victim Of Anti-Russian Hate Both In The West And Russia Itself

Russian singer/songwriter Manizha Sangin, who represented her country and finished 9th during the 2021 Eurovision held in The Netherlands, has become a figure of Anti-Russian hate both in the west and Russia following her comments condemning the war in Ukraine.

Manizha, who herself is married to a Ukrainian man, was first bombarded with hate speech and racism by people living in Western European nations and those in the US due to her Russian heritage, which hasn't slowed down since her disapproval of the war in Ukraine came to light during a recent Telegram post.

Now she's been labeled by the Kremlin an: "Enemy of the state", with hate speech towards her and her Ukrainian husband now coming from her own country.

Music festival organizers in the EU, Russia, and the United States have openly revealed getting swamped with complaints if they had Manizha on their roster(s), due to coordinated efforts by Anti-Russian members of EU and UK society to cancel Manizha due to her Russian heritage.

Following the official invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Army six months ago after the illegal annexation of Crimea in 2014, Manizha released her single Soldier, which made her opinion and views on the invasion turned full scale war clear.

Manizha now resides in Paris, France, with her sister after she and her husband fled Russia following the song's release due to  her facing 15 years in prison for violating Russia's: "Disinformation Rules".

The singer has announced her Uncancelled Tour, which will take place across the former Soviet Republics of Armenia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Ukraine.
