Robbie Keane does not anticipate any significant tactical changes from either Tottenham Hotspur or Manchester United ahead of their UEFA Europa League final clash on Wednesday.
Robbie Keane Expects No Tactical Surprises from Spurs or Man Utd in Europa League Final

Both clubs have endured turbulent domestic campaigns, with each set to finish the Premier League season in the bottom half of the table. Style of play and tactical rigidity have been recurring points of criticism aimed at both sides by fans and pundits alike.
However, Keane — who captained Spurs during a notable spell in his playing career — believes neither Ange Postecoglou nor United boss Rúben Amorim will abandon their footballing philosophies for the sake of a one-off final.
Speaking to Betway, the former Republic of Ireland international expressed cautious optimism for his former side while acknowledging the broader context of a disappointing season.
“It’s a big week for Tottenham with the Europa League final on Wednesday.
I’d love to see them lift the cup at the end of a very disappointing season, and I’m sure Spurs fans would be delighted with a European trophy after such a long wait — but it still doesn’t mask what’s been a poor campaign overall.”
Keane stressed that neither side, given the talent at their disposal, should find themselves in their current league positions.
“They didn’t expect to be in this situation — and neither did Manchester United.
With the squads they have, there’s really no excuse for where they’ve ended up.”
As for tactical expectations on the night, Keane predicts both managers will remain loyal to their usual strategies.
“I don’t think either manager will change their philosophy for this game. They both seem a bit stubborn about the way they play — they stick to their approach, and that’s their identity.”
With Spurs arguably boasting the stronger line-up on paper, Keane hopes their steadfastness will serve them better than United’s on the night.
“I think Spurs’ team looks stronger on paper, and I’m certainly hoping they can come away with the win.”
