Galatasaray are reportedly seeking support from sponsors to secure the funds required to permanently sign Victor Osimhen, currently a Manchester United transfer target, from Napoli.

The Nigerian striker’s late summer move to Turkey surprised many, as he chose Galatasaray over options such as Chelsea or Saudi Arabia.

Osimhen has continued his prolific form in Turkey, netting eight goals in just nine appearances. His performances have reignited speculation about a potential move to Manchester United, whose manager, Ruben Amorim, is reportedly keen to bolster the club’s attacking options for the upcoming season.

Despite this, Galatasaray are determined to retain the striker. Although their current loan deal does not include an option to buy, the Turkish club are exploring ways to secure a permanent transfer.

Sponsorship Strategy for Retaining Osimhen

According to Turkish broadcaster A Spor, Galatasaray intend to leverage sponsorship agreements to gather the necessary funds for a deal. The coming January transfer window is expected to play a pivotal role in determining whether the Turkish side can achieve their aim of signing Osimhen outright.

Meanwhile, Manchester United are said to be preparing an enticing offer for Napoli. Reports suggest that the Premier League giants are considering a player-plus-cash deal, with 25-year-old forward Joshua Zirkzee being proposed as part of the exchange.

As the January transfer window approaches, both clubs are expected to intensify their efforts, making the future of Victor Osimhen a compelling story to follow.
