Medical examinations conducted on Juventus striker Dušan Vlahović have ruled out a severe muscle injury, but according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Serbian international will still be sidelined for the upcoming matches against Milan and Aston Villa.

The Serbian forward sustained a muscle injury during Serbia’s 0-0 draw against Denmark on Monday night. Following medical assessments in Turin this morning, the tests confirmed the absence of a serious issue. However, reports suggest Vlahović will not feature in the next two fixtures.

Vlahović, Juventus’ leading scorer this season with nine goals in 16 appearances across all competitions, has been instrumental for the team.

Juventus are set to visit Milan at San Siro on 23 November, followed by a trip to England to face Aston Villa in Birmingham on 27 November.

The Bianconeri currently sit on 24 points from 12 Serie A matches and have accumulated seven points from four Champions League fixtures.
