Aston Villa looked set for an upset with a half-time lead, courtesy of Gabi Nunes’ clever finish from a Kirsty Hanson cross. However, Manchester City turned the match around within eight second-half minutes. Lauren Hemp weaved past three defenders to set up Jill Roord for the equaliser, and soon after, Hemp followed up her own header to put City ahead. The victory sees City return to the top of the table heading into the international break.

Maika Hamano opened the scoring for Chelsea against Tottenham Hotspur with a strike from Johanna Rytting Kaneryd’s cut-back. Spurs equalised when Amanda Nilden’s long-range shot was adjudged to have crossed the line before Hannah Hampton made a second attempt to stop it. Chelsea regained the lead just before half-time, as Guro Reiten’s corner deflected off Nilden's head into the net. Rytting Kaneryd extended Chelsea's advantage with a superb volley from a Millie Bright cross, while Reiten’s penalty hit the post, only for Sandy Baltimore to net the rebound. Eveliina Summanen pulled one back for Spurs from a free-kick, but Rytting Kaneryd sealed Chelsea’s dominant win with a thunderous fifth goal.

Substitute Stina Blackstenius won a penalty for Arsenal after a challenge from West Ham’s Amber Tysiak, with Mariona Caldentey converting from the spot. Blackstenius later assisted Rosa Kafaji to secure Arsenal’s win with a late goal in the 89th minute.

Former Liverpool forward Katie Stengel scored on her second attempt for Crystal Palace, as her side drew with her former team. Liverpool equalised when Cornelia Kapocs charged down a defender's clearance and slotted past goalkeeper Shae Yanez. It marked Liverpool’s third draw in five matches.

Leicester City grabbed an early lead against Everton, with Yuka Momiki finding the bottom corner just eight minutes in. That goal proved to be enough, securing the Foxes their first win of the season.
