Kid Cudi Postpones Global Tour Following Injury Incurred at Coachella: Surgery and Rehabilitation Planned

Just one day after providing an update on his Coachella injury, Kid Cudi has made the difficult decision to cancel his upcoming world tour.

The 40-year-old rapper, born Scott Ramon Seguro Mescudi, had announced his Insano Engage the Rage World Tour in March, with a scheduled start date of June 28 in Austin, Texas.

However, following a surprise performance at Coachella last weekend, Kid Cudi sustained a foot injury while jumping off the stage.

In a video update shared on Monday, the musician revealed that the injury, a broken calcaneus, is severe enough to require surgery, leading to the tour cancellation.

In his message to fans, Kid Cudi expressed regret over the cancellation, citing the need to focus on recovery to ensure he can return to the stage at his best.

He assured ticket holders of full refunds and promised to announce new tour dates as soon as possible.

Despite the setback, Kid Cudi remained optimistic, expressing gratitude for the support of his fans and promising to return to the stage soon.

The tour, which was set to feature support from artists like Pusha T, Jaden Smith, and EarthGang, was slated to tour North America throughout the summer before heading to Europe in early 2025.

Details regarding rescheduled tour dates and Kid Cudi's recovery timeline have yet to be announced.
