The first photographs from their special day have now been revealed. As reported by The Mirror, the couple were all smiles in the moments following their vows.
Jack, best known for his long-standing role as David Platt on the ITV soap, looked dashing in a formal suit. The 37-year-old wore an off-white suit jacket over a black waistcoat and crisp white shirt, paired with black trousers and a classic black bow tie.
Hanni, 36, looked radiant in an elegant long white gown featuring a full skirt and an impressively long train. Her dress included a lace, off-the-shoulder bodice with long sleeves, perfectly complementing her graceful bridal appearance.
She completed her bridal ensemble with a flowing veil held in place by a sparkling tiara. The newlyweds shared a romantic kiss on the steps of Manchester Cathedral, while their delighted guests showered them with confetti.
Jack proposed to Hanni last year during a romantic safari holiday in Tanzania. The couple had initially met while working on Coronation Street, with Hanni later joining the show’s writing team. Their relationship blossomed over time.
Earlier this year, Jack revealed that his decision to participate in Celebrity Big Brother was partly to help fund their extravagant wedding. Though he didn’t expect to win the ITV reality show, the opportunity provided an extra financial boost.
In the lead-up to their big day, Jack and Hanni shared glimpses of the wedding preparations, which they organised with the help of the Taylor Lynn Corporation events team.
Hanni documented key moments from the planning process on Instagram, including the day she chose her wedding dress and selected the wine for the reception. She also shared heartfelt details, such as how she and Jack “built our guest list in this cosy little cabin.”
Marking the four-week countdown to the big day, Hanni posted:
"Here’s to four weeks of making special memories, feeling excited, nervous, overwhelmed, emotional, in love and everything else that comes with being a bride."
Jack enthusiastically replied: “It’s gonna be EPIC!”
When asked on Good Morning Britain whether he planned to invite his Celebrity Big Brother housemates to the wedding, Jack responded:
“I don’t think so. I’ve only known them three weeks and have a guest list a mile long.”
Jack and Hanni initially crossed paths when she appeared on Coronation Street, and later worked behind the scenes as a storyline writer. However, romance didn’t blossom until they reconnected at a mutual friend’s wedding.
Reflecting on their early connection, Jack recalled:
“We got chatting, I made Hanni laugh, we had a couple of drinks and we flirted. That was it.”
The pair began dating later that same year after a chance encounter in a supermarket. Jack jokingly noted how awkward the meeting was, while Hanni was worried about how she looked.
But Jack was instantly smitten, admitting:
“I actually thought she looked fit. I just saw the girl I fancy wearing lycra! We quickly went on our first date, and we just clicked.”
