The government of the West African nation of Burkina Faso has announced that the country will enter three days of national mourning, following a mass shooting over the weekend in the city of Seytenga.

Over the weekend, a small group of masked gunman opened fire on civilians, killing 50 and injuring hundreds more.

The situation is being treated as a terrorist attack.
