"Lisa Marie’s final resting place will be at Graceland, next to her beloved son, Ben,” a representative for her daughter Riley Keough said. Elvis and other members of the Presley family are also buried at Graceland.

Lisa Marie Presley, the only child of legend Elvis Presley and Priscilla Presley, will be buried near her father and late son, Benjamin Keough, at the family’s Tennessee estate, Graceland, according to a family representative.

The singer, who was 54 years old and was the only child of the “King of Rock ‘n’ Roll”, Elvis Presley, died on Thursday after reportedly suffering cardiac arrest in her home in Calabasas, California, after she was found unresponsive.

Benjamin Keough took his own life in August 2020 at the age of 27, and in one of Presley’s final posts on social media, she shared an essay she wrote for People Magazine about her struggle with grief after her son’s death.

“I’ve dealt with death, grief and loss since the age of 9 years old. I’ve had more than anyone’s fair share of it in my lifetime and somehow, I’ve made it this far,” she wrote. “Death is part of life whether we like it or not — and so is grieving.”

Presley, who was well known for a series of high-profile marriages to pop legend Michael Jackson, actor Nicholas Cage, and musicians Michael Lockwood and Danny Keough, is survived by three daughters – actress Riley Keough and twins Finley and Harper Lockwood. She is also survived by her mother, Priscilla.

According to the Graceland website, Presley at the age of 25 became the sole heir to the Graceland estate and its 17,500 square-foot mansion, which according to the estate’s website is second only to the White House as the most visited home in the United States.

Days before her death, she had visited Graceland to commemorate what would have been Elvis’ 88th birthday on January 8. The estate is now in a trust that will go to the benefit of Lisa Marie’s children, according to the Associated Press.

Fans from far and near gathered at Graceland in Memphis to honor Presley’s life, placing flowers near the mansion and writing kind notes on a graffiti wall. One message said she is now with her father Elvis.
