In the northern Indian city of Dharamsala, panic ensued during an evening cricket match, leading to the evacuation of more than 10,000 people from the stadium. The match was subsequently called off due to the chaos.

Meanwhile, air raid sirens continued to sound in Rajouri, located in Indian-controlled Kashmir, into Friday morning after another night of heavy shelling between Indian and Pakistani forces. The military standoff between the two countries has intensified following an attack on tourists in the Indian-controlled area of the disputed region last month. The attack left 27 people dead, including 25 Hindu tourists, and 20 others injured.

Indian military officials reported that Pakistani forces targeted their positions overnight with artillery, mortars, and gunfire at multiple locations, resulting in fierce exchanges of fire that continued until dawn.
