Kanye West and Bianca Censori are reportedly heading for divorce just 11 days after her controversial appearance on the Grammys red carpet.

It is believed they have verbally agreed that she will receive a settlement of $5 million following their brief marriage, which began in December 2022.

A source close to the 47-year-old rapper has confirmed that the couple have now separated, and legal proceedings to formalise the divorce are expected in the coming days.

Censori, 30, is currently staying at their $35 million residence in Beverly Park North, Los Angeles.

West’s whereabouts remain uncertain, though some speculate he may soon return to Tokyo, Japan, where he spent much of the previous year residing in a hotel.

Censori appeared visibly uncomfortable on the red carpet on 2 February, when West allegedly instructed her to drop her fur coat and ‘make a scene’. Nevertheless, she complied with his directive.

West’s associates insist the stunt was his artistic vision and intended to resemble the cover of his album Vultures 2.

MailOnline has reached out to representatives for both West and Censori for comment.

The following day, West wrote on X:

“My wife’s first red carpet opened a whole new world. I keep staring at this photo like I was staring in admiration that night. Thinking, wow, I am so lucky to have a wife that is so smart, talented, brave, and hot.”

He continued:

“She took a break from shooting her first film to make a movie in real life. We tailored that invisible dress six times. And just like magic – poof – we disappeared.”

Following the Grammys, West launched into an anti-Semitic tirade on X, declaring himself a Nazi and expressing admiration for Hitler.

During the Super Bowl, he secured an advertising slot for his clothing line, which had been reduced to a single product: a $20 T-shirt featuring a Nazi swastika. The site was swiftly shut down by Shopify within 24 hours.

West was also banned from X (formerly Twitter) but reappeared on the platform last Thursday, having deleted much of his offensive content. He later claimed his outbursts had been a “social experiment.”

He wrote:

“So funny how N****** rapping about killing N****** is not hate, but posting a swastika is hate.”

His remarks have sparked widespread condemnation in Hollywood, with Australian actress Isla Fisher and Friends star David Schwimmer among those publicly criticising him.

Earlier this month, in an interview, West claimed he had been ‘misdiagnosed’ as bipolar and was instead autistic. He further asserted that he was a reincarnated Emperor of Japan – a belief he claimed Censori also shared.

West was previously married to reality television star and business mogul Kim Kardashian, with whom he shares four children: North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.

Last week, Censori caused global controversy when she attended the Grammys in a sheer outfit that fully exposed her breasts and genitals.

Many of West’s followers accused him of being ‘abusive’ and ‘controlling,’ using his wife’s body for publicity.

Addressing the backlash amid a further tirade of anti-Semitic, sexist, and homophobic remarks, West claimed he had “dominion” over Censori but insisted he would never force her to wear anything she was uncomfortable with.

He posted on X:

“I HAVE DOMINION OVER MY WIFE. THIS AIN’T NO WOKE-AS FEMINIST ST. SHE’S WITH A BILLIONAIRE. WHY WOULD SHE LISTEN TO ANY OF YOU DUMB A BROKE B*****S?”

“PEOPLE SAY THE RED CARPET LOOK WAS HER DECISION. YES, I DON’T MAKE HER DO ANYTHING SHE DOESN’T WANT TO, BUT SHE DEFINITELY WOULDN’T HAVE BEEN ABLE TO DO IT WITHOUT MY APPROVAL, YOU STUPID A** WOKE PAWNS.”

“I HAVE NO RESPECT OR EMPATHY FOR ANYONE LIVING BECAUSE NO ONE LIVING CAN F**K WITH ME. BUT I DO LOVE SOME PEOPLE, AND I GIVE THEM FAVOUR.”

He continued his rant into the early hours, adding:

“Anyone who called my wife’s Grammy look a stunt is dumb and laaaame. Yes, youuuu.”

“She’s been dressing naked for two years. Now all of a sudden, it’s a stunt? Every single b***h on the planet wishes they had her bravery, body, platform, money, and a husband who supports their personal expression.”

“There are a lot of things that had to converge for this moment to happen.”

He later declared the sheer outfit “the best Grammys outfit of all time.”

Since West married Censori in 2022, fans have voiced concerns about her wellbeing, as the Australian architect has frequently been seen in revealing outfits.

At the Grammy Awards, Censori arrived in a black fur coat before dramatically dropping it to expose her naked body to photographers.

She turned to reveal her topless chest and lack of underwear, while West – who was fully clothed – appeared to leer at her.

Lip-reading expert Nicola Hickling later suggested that West had told her: “You’re making a scene now.”

She nodded in response, and he added: “Make a scene, I’ll say it’ll make so much sense. Drop it behind you and then turn. I got you.” She then replied: “Alright, let’s go.”

Rumours of a split between West and Censori previously emerged in September 2023, though they later refuted the claims in what was widely seen as a publicity stunt.

Sources have speculated that their recent Grammys stunt was an attempt to divert attention from allegations that West drugged and assaulted his former assistant, Lauren Pisciotta, at a party hosted by Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.

Combs is currently facing trial on multiple charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering, all of which he denies.

An insider told DailyMail.com:

“Kanye is concerned that his new lawsuit will drag him down to Diddy’s level, and he has been speaking to his legal team about it.”

“He is paying attention to what’s happening with Diddy, and some believe that the publicity stunt was an attempt to overshadow the details of the harrowing lawsuit.”

In June 2023, influencer and former OnlyFans star Pisciotta sued West, accusing him of sexual harassment and stalking while she worked for him between 2021 and 2022.

West has denied the allegations, dismissing them as ‘baseless’ and accusing Pisciotta of ‘blackmail and extortion’.

West and Censori first met when he hired her as an architectural designer for Yeezy, a year before his six-year marriage to Kardashian ended.

A former friend of Censori claimed in an Australian radio interview that West had ‘slid into her DMs’ after discovering her on Instagram.

After reportedly inviting her to ‘come and work’ for him, she left university to pursue the opportunity. The friend added that Censori ‘wasn’t a huge fan’ of West’s music.

In 2022, West released a track titled Censori Overload, a play on her surname.

The lyrics reference his abstinence before marriage, with the line: “And The Bible said, I can’t have any more sex ‘til marriage.”

The song also seemingly alludes to his divorce from Kardashian, beginning with: “Waking up to ‘I can’t do this anymore’ text,” and continuing: “I know it’s ‘cause the headlines / Why she wanna leave.”

West and Censori were frequently seen on dates, including at the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills, where he was living at the time.

Following his divorce from Kardashian, West and Censori held a private ceremony to exchange vows and rings.

Though it remains unclear whether their marriage was legally binding, a source told US Weekly:

“Kanye and Bianca had a small wedding ceremony. Friends don’t know if it’s legal, but it’s very real to them.”

Their relationship now appears to have come to an abrupt end.
