Spanish giants Real Madrid mounted an impressive comeback to secure a 3-2 victory over Manchester City in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League knockout play-off on Tuesday night.

At the Etihad Stadium, City's Norwegian striker Erling Haaland opened the scoring in the 19th minute before doubling his tally from the penalty spot in the 80th minute.
Real Madrid responded with two equalisers, first through French forward Kylian Mbappé in the 60th minute, followed by Moroccan winger Brahim Díaz, who levelled the score once again in the 80th minute.
The decisive moment came in stoppage time, as England international Jude Bellingham struck in the 92nd minute to secure a crucial victory for Los Blancos.
The second leg is set to take place at the Santiago Bernabéu on 19th February.
