Ozzy Osbourne is set to reunite with the original Black Sabbath line-up for a one-off stadium show this summer.

A Historic Farewell in Birmingham

The 'Paranoid' heavy metal legends have revealed plans for a special hometown charity concert at Birmingham’s Villa Park on 5th July, marking the first time in 20 years that the original line-up—Geezer Butler, Tony Iommi, and Bill Ward—will perform together.

Titled 'Back to the Beginning', the event will feature a short solo set by Ozzy, 76, before he joins the rest of the band for what has been described as his "final bow".

Ozzy expressed his emotions in a heartfelt statement:

"It’s my time to go 'Back to the Beginning'… time for me to give back to the place where I was born. How blessed am I to do it with the help of people whom I love. Birmingham is the true home of metal. Birmingham Forever."

Ozzy’s Last Goodbye

Ozzy, who has stepped away from touring in recent years due to spinal injuries and Parkinson’s disease, will make this his final performance. His wife, Sharon Osbourne, confirmed the significance of the event:

"Ozzy didn’t have a chance to say goodbye to his friends, to his fans, and he feels there’s been no full stop. This is his full stop."

A Star-Studded Line-up

The special one-day festival will also feature performances from some of the biggest names in rock and metal, including:

• Metallica

• Slayer

• Pantera

• Gojira

• Halestorm

• Alice In Chains

• Lamb of God

• Anthrax

• Mastodon

Additionally, the organisers have assembled a supergroup of renowned musicians to pay tribute to Ozzy and Black Sabbath, featuring:

• David Draiman (Disturbed)

• Duff McKagan & Slash (Guns N' Roses)

• Frank Bello (Anthrax)

Regarding the supergroup, Sharon Osbourne shared:

All profits from the concert will be donated to:
