Middlesbrough have secured the loan signing of Bournemouth goalkeeper Mark Travers for the remainder of the season.

The Republic of Ireland international has made 82 appearances for the Cherries, with his most recent outing coming in the 2-2 draw against Chelsea earlier this month.

Travers’ arrival provides a significant boost to sixth-placed Middlesbrough’s Championship play-off ambitions, as goalkeepers Sol Brynn and Seny Dieng face extended spells on the sidelines due to injury.

The 25-year-old previously spent time on loan at Stoke City last season, making 14 appearances.

Bournemouth confirmed the move on their official website, stating: "We wish Mark all the best for the remainder of the season."

Meanwhile, Festy Ebosele has announced the conclusion of his loan spell at Watford.

The Irish international joined the Hornets on loan from Italian side Udinese at the start of the season and made 19 appearances in all competitions under manager Tom Cleverley.

On Wednesday, the Wexford native took to Instagram to share his gratitude, writing:

*"Watford fans, thank you for the memories over the past five months. You welcomed me as one of your own.

I wish I could have played for you more while I was here. The fight continues. I wish you all the best—keep singing."*

According to Sky Sports, two Turkish clubs—believed to be İstanbul Başakşehir and Galatasaray—are interested in signing the versatile attacking full-back before the transfer window closes next Monday.
