Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is scheduled to open at Magic Kingdom Park, Walt Disney World in Florida, USA, on June 28th.

A reimagining of the Splash Mountain attraction, it has been closed for over a year for the ride to be updated.

Situated in the Frontierland area of the park, the update incorporates characters from The Princess and the Frog film, including Mama Odie, Louis, and Princess Tiana herself.

The attraction will feature a range of new audio-animatronic figures and an updated soundtrack themed around New Orleans and the bayou. Tracks from the film, as well as newly created songs, will be included.

A spokesperson from Walt Disney World said: “The heart of Tiana’s story reminds guests that everyone has the potential to make their dreams a reality.

"With teams of Imagineers, Disney animation artists, cast members, and Louisiana artisans working together, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is sure to pass a good time when it opens at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida on June 28, 2024, and later in 2024 at Disneyland Park in California.”
