Zimbabwe Announces Squad for T20I Series Against Bangladesh

Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) has unveiled a 15-member squad for the upcoming tour to Bangladesh, featuring a five-match Twenty20 International (T20I) series scheduled for May.

Led by Sikandar Raza, the team introduces one newcomer, Johnathan Campbell, alongside the return of Tadiwanashe Marumani and Faraz Akram.

The remainder of the squad comprises players who featured in Zimbabwe's recent T20I series against Sri Lanka in January, including seasoned campaigners Craig Ervine and Sean Williams, pacers Richard Ngarava and Blessing Muzarabani, and rising talents Clive Madande and Brian Bennett.

Madande, Bennett, and Campbell notably contributed to the success of the Zimbabwe emerging men's team, clinching gold at the 13th African Games in Ghana last March.

In the absence of a newly appointed head coach, Stuart Matsikenyeri will oversee Zimbabwe's campaign against Bangladesh.

The series kicks off with the first three T20Is in Chattogram on May 3rd, 5th, and 7th, followed by the concluding matches in Dhaka on May 10th and 12th.

Squad: Raza Sikandar (captain), Akram Faraz, Bennett Brian, Burl Ryan, Campbell Johnathan, Ervine Craig, Gumbie Joylord, Jongwe Luke, Madande Clive, Marumani Tadiwanashe, Masakadza Wellington, Muzarabani Blessing, Ndlovu Ainsley, Ngarava Richard, Williams Sean. ZimCriket
