The Band Stated That: "We Want To Break Up To Focus On Our Solo Careers"

BTS have announced that the band will break up temporarily, in order to focus on individual member's solo careers.

The move, which has shocked K-Pop and Boyband fans across the world, came after the South Korean group released their latest album Proof.

Lead vocalist Jimin stated in a press conference that: “Now we're starting to think about what kind of artists we each want to be remembered for by our fans, not just for K-Pop or being part of a successful Boyband.

We've all agreed that for an undetermined period of time, that we'd disband and work on finding who we are as individual musicians in our own right.

Then we will reform BTS with the clarity and knowledge gained, making music that won't sound like anything we recorded before”.
