The opener’s blistering 54-ball knock, which included 13 sixes, propelled India to a commanding total of 247-9 in the fourth T20 after being invited to bat first at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
Despite a rapid 23-ball 55 from Phil Salt, England never looked likely to chase down the target, as India bowled them out for 97 runs, sealing their second-biggest T20I victory.
Abhishek further contributed with the ball, taking two wickets in his only over with left-arm spin.
"It’s special. Playing for my country is always a great feeling," said the 24-year-old. "When I feel it’s my day, I always try to attack from the first ball. The coach and captain have backed me from day one, encouraging me to play with intent and supporting me throughout."
England’s batting collapsed to 68-4, with Jos Buttler (7), Harry Brook (2), and Liam Livingstone (9) all failing to make an impact.
Shivam Dube, a batting all-rounder who bowls medium pace, dismissed Salt with his first ball, having controversially replaced Harshit Rana as a concussion substitute in the previous match.
The remainder of England’s batting order crumbled, with Jacob Bethell (10) being the only player apart from Salt to reach double figures.
