The Brown Bear Cub Was Found By Turkish Wildlife Rescue Workers High As A Kite On The Hallucinogenic Honey Found Across Anatolia

The Turkish Wildlife Rescue Service has announced they've rescued a Brown Bear cub in the woods whilst patrolling for wildfires near the Turkish-Georgian Border, but this wasn't your average Brown Bear cub.

The Brown Bear cub in question was high on a type of Rhododendron Nectar local to Anatolia called Mad Honey (Or Deli Bal in Turkish).

Mad Honey is produced by bees who make honey sourced from Rhododendron Nectar and is used in a variety of medicines for mental disorders.

It in it's raw form is a potent hallucinogen akin to LSD, with a spoonful being enough to induce vibrant hallucinations and intense euphoria in mammals like bears, dogs, and humans.

Mad Honey overdoses can, have, and will happen with risks including reduced blood pressure, nausea, fainting, seizures, arrhythmia, insanity, and death.

According to the Turkish government, over a dozen Turks per year are rushed to hospital in Istanbul/Constantinople per year whilst going through Mad Honey overdose.

Dash-Cam and body camera footage from the rescue workers shows the bear dazed and confused, struggling to stand, and just sitting in place on the ground.

After the Turkish Wildlife Rescue Service acquired the bear high on Mad Honey, the cub started to lay in the back of the truck like it was in a Cheech and Chong movie swapping at the air as workers told dispatch that: "The bear is clearly hallucinating".

The Brown Bear Cub was soon after taken to a vet where she has been treated and reported to be in a safe condition.
