For a u-turn to occur, it would require the Bayern board to put aside their pride. The outlet also quotes former player Philipp Lahm, who suggests that the Allianz Arena would benefit from more continuity rather than a consistent turnover of managers.

Given that Bayern's stadium will host next season's Champions League final, the club would undoubtedly prefer to reach the showpiece event under their current manager.
