Kris Jenner struggled to hold back tears as she revealed she had been diagnosed with a tumour in the trailer for Season 5 of 'The Kardashians.

The matriarch, aged 68, shared the results of a recent medical examination with her daughters in a preview for the upcoming reality show.

'I had my scan, they found a cyst and like a little tumour,' Kris said, becoming emotional, to her devastated family.

Kendall Jenner, 28, and Khloe Kardashian, 39, both appeared shocked by their mother’s announcement, while Kris’ boyfriend Corey Gamble, 48, was seen with his head in his hands.

Kylie Jenner, 26, burst into tears, prompting her supermodel sister Kendall to run over and offer a comforting hug.

No further details about her health were disclosed in the preview.

The teaser also depicted the medical challenges faced by Kourtney Kardashian, 45, with her now six-month-old son, Rocky.

During her pregnancy, the Poosh founder revealed she had undergone 'urgent foetal surgery,' and her drummer husband, Travis Barker, cancelled his Blink-182 shows in the UK and Ireland to be by her side.

In the preview, cameras captured the moment when Kourtney video called her mother, informing her about the need for emergency surgery.

'This is really crazy, I just want Kourtney to be OK,' Kris said, becoming emotional.

Cameras filmed Kourtney in hospital, and she later described the situation as 'terrifying.'

This development follows Khloe's revelation in the previous season about a 'tiny little dot' on her face, initially thought to be acne but diagnosed as melanoma.

According to the NHS, melanoma is a type of skin cancer that can spread to other areas of the body, with ultraviolet light being the primary cause.

Khloe subsequently encouraged fans to check their bodies in an Instagram post.
