Binge has released the trailer for the upcoming second series of its hilarious Australian comedy 'Colin From Accounts,' starring Patrick Brammall and Harriet Dyer.

The new season continues to follow the misadventures of characters Gordon and Ashley as they navigate life and love in modern-day Sydney.

Comedian Celeste Barber, 42, joins the cast, and the trailer promises plenty of comedic moments as the leads find themselves in awkward situations.

One amusing scene shows Harriet's character declaring she is done with love and just wants a dog, while another sees Gordon caught in an intimate moment.

The second series will debut on the streaming service Binge on Thursday, 30th May, and is expected to deliver more of the first season's blend of comedy and heartfelt moments.

The romantic comedy-drama was renewed for a second series in October.

Joining the cast are Virginia Gay from 'Winners & Losers,' Justin Rosniak from 'Mr Inbetween,' Lynne Porteous from 'Home and Away,' and John Howard from 'Blue Heelers.'

Fans have taken to social media to express their excitement over the announcement.

'Think we'll need to subscribe to Binge again,' one fan wrote.

'This is the best comedy! I was hoping it would be back. It's hilarious... about to get even funnier,' another commented.

The new cast members join returning actors Tai Hara, Helen Thomson, Emma Harvie, Genevieve Hegney, Darren Gilshenan, Annie Maynar, and Michael Logo.

'Colin From Accounts' season one comprised eight episodes and explored the lives of Ashley and Gordon, two complex individuals brought together following a fateful car accident and an injured dog.

After season one, Brammall and Dyer received an AACTA award for Best Narrative Comedy Series and two Logies for Most Outstanding Actor and Most Outstanding Actress."
