Dakota Johnson and Pedro Pascal are sharing a kiss on the set of their new film

The co-stars filmed a passionate kissing scene for "Materialists" on Wednesday afternoon (8th May) in New York City.

During their time on set, Dakota, 34, donned a black leather jacket over a white vest paired with jeans, while Pedro, 49, sported a tan blazer, dark orange shirt, and black trousers.

Between scenes, the pair were spotted chatting as they walked around the set.

"Materialists" is directed by the Oscar-nominated Celine Song, known for "Past Lives," and also features Chris Evans.

According to Deadline, plot details are being kept under wraps for now, but it's believed to centre around "a professional matchmaker who becomes involved with a wealthy man but still harbours feelings for the broke actor-waiter she left behind." The site also notes that there's positive buzz surrounding the script.

At present, "Materialists" does not have a confirmed release date."
