Darwin Nunez's recent poor form for Liverpool has drawn attention, leading the Uruguayan striker to remove all but one Liverpool-related post from his Instagram account.

Darwin Nunez has removed most Liverpool-related posts from his Instagram account, leaving only one image.

The Uruguayan striker has faced criticism for his recent performances, particularly his struggles in front of goal, which contributed to Liverpool's faltering title challenge towards the end of the Premier League season. Despite his teammates also missing chances, Nunez has been the focus of frustration due to several missed opportunities.

Nunez came on as a substitute in Liverpool's 4-2 win against Tottenham Hotspur, where he was involved in several key moments, including assisting Mohamed Salah for a disallowed goal. However, he missed chances and was caught offside frequently during the match.

Despite scoring 18 goals and providing 13 assists in all competitions this season, only 11 of those goals came in the Premier League. There is speculation about Nunez's future at Liverpool, especially considering the significant transfer fee of £64.1m the club paid for him in 2022.

Nunez's decision to remove most Liverpool-related photos from his Instagram account suggests uncertainty about his future at the club. Only one photo remains, showing him training at the AXA Training Centre shortly after joining Liverpool.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has acknowledged Nunez's struggles, emphasizing that scoring droughts are part of a striker's life and expressing confidence in Nunez's abilities to bounce back.

Klopp's departure at the end of the season adds further uncertainty to Nunez's future, with Feyenoord coach Arne Slot expected to replace him.
