Jaafar Jackson resembled his uncle Michael Jackson while filming the upcoming biopic "Michael" about the late musician on Saturday.

The 27-year-old actor was seen on set in downtown Los Angeles dressed in a navy blue military jacket with gold details, inspired by the King of Pop's trademark style.

He wore black cropped trousers with stripes down the sides, tall socks, and black loafers, mirroring the fashion choices of the music icon, who passed away at the age of 50 in 2009.

Jaafar completed the look with oversized aviator sunglasses as he transformed into his uncle for filming the biopic titled "Michael."

Recent sightings of Jaafar filming have included locations like Hayvenhurst, the Jackson family compound in Los Angeles' Encino neighbourhood, where Michael and his family resided from 1971 onwards.

During Saturday's shoot, Jaafar appeared to be filming a scene where he greeted a crowd of fans while standing on top of a car in downtown Los Angeles.

The scene seemed to be set in the '80s, judging by his outfit, long-haired wig, and vintage cars assembled on the street.

The highly-anticipated biopic, scheduled for release on April 18, 2025, also stars Colman Domingo as Joe Jackson and Miles Teller as Michael's attorney and future estate executor John Branca.

The film is expected to cover significant aspects of Michael Jackson's life, including the allegations of child sexual abuse in the 1990s.

Director Dan Reed, known for the documentary "Leaving Neverland" addressing these allegations, criticised the upcoming biopic as "startlingly disingenuous" after reviewing the screenplay.

Michael's son Prince, 27, has shown support for the project, visiting the set and sharing his enthusiasm on social media.
