Chelsea's new hospitality offering, the Rose & Ball experience priced from £280 per person, has sparked concerns among local residents due to potential antisocial behaviour linked to VIP match attendees, including Spain's former King Juan Carlos. Complaints include issues like car park misuse, visible drug use, and disruptions caused by VIP entourages. Despite objections, the package provides fans with a premium matchday experience outside Stamford Bridge, featuring dining and interaction with former players.

A new hospitality package launched by Chelsea, called the Rose & Ball experience and priced from £280 per person upwards, has raised concerns about potential antisocial behaviour among local residents. This offering, part of Club Chelsea's hospitality offerings for regular fans, promises a 'first-class experience' featuring dining and an opportunity to meet a former player.

Residents near Stamford Bridge expressed objections in a letter to Hammersmith and Fulham Council in 2023, citing existing issues caused by VIP matchgoers. Complaints included VIPs using local streets as car parks, with Spain's former King Juan Carlos reportedly involved in such incidents.

One resident described visible drug use, drunken behaviour, urination, and defecation as common occurrences, raising health and community concerns. Specific incidents involving the former King of Spain's entourage causing road access disruptions were also highlighted.

Former King Juan Carlos notably attended a Champions League match where Real Madrid defeated Chelsea 2-0 at Stamford Bridge before departing for Vigo.

The Rose & Ball experience will be hosted in a 'health club' area outside Stamford Bridge, alongside an unused space. Ticket prices range from £280 to £675, categorised as a 'lower-mid tier' offering. In contrast, VIP attendees at Stamford Bridge pay upwards of £9,600 for Private Club boxes.

Seats for the Rose & Ball package are located in the West Lower tier, with bar and booth seating available to guests before and after matches.
