Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), who failed to secure the title on Saturday after a 3-3 draw with Le Havre, currently sit on 70 points, maintaining a 12-point lead over Monaco with three games remaining in the season.

Paris Saint-Germain were confirmed as Ligue 1 champions for a record-extending 12th time on Sunday after AS Monaco lost 3-2 to Olympique Lyonnais, securing PSG's title with three games remaining.

PSG had missed the chance to seal the title on Saturday with a 3-3 draw against Le Havre but remained comfortably ahead with 70 points, leading Monaco by 12 points.

Monaco took an early lead at Lyon, scoring within 20 seconds as Wissam Ben Yedder tapped in Takumi Minamino's cross. However, Lyon quickly turned the game around, taking a 2-1 lead within 25 minutes through goals from Alexandre Lacazette and Said Benrahma.

Ben Yedder equalised for Monaco with a header from Youssouf Fofana's delivery in the 60th minute, but Lyon ultimately secured victory with Fofana scoring from outside the area six minutes before full time.

Despite the drawn match on Saturday, PSG manager Luis Enrique was unconcerned, confident in their superior goal difference and the impending title.

"We're champions. I don't care if there's a party or not," Enrique stated. "We have a goal difference of plus 29 on the second place, I already feel like champions. Even if we don't score any more points, we'll be champions."

Enrique's assurance proved correct as PSG clinched their 10th title in 12 seasons without needing to play another match.
