Giacomo Raspadori has left Napoli’s pre-season training camp and is expected to undergo a medical with Atletico Madrid on Monday after the two clubs reached an agreement worth €26 million (£22 million).

As revealed exclusively by Football Italia alongside Alfredo Pedullà earlier today, the deal comprises a €22 million guaranteed fee, an additional €3 million if Atletico qualify for the UEFA Champions League, and a further €1 million in easily attainable add-ons — bringing the total package to a virtually assured €26 million for the Italy international.

Napoli held an event at their Castel di Sangro base on Saturday evening, where the entire squad and head coach Antonio Conte greeted supporters. Raspadori was notably absent, with the forward already preparing for his move to the Spanish capital.

The 25-year-old versatile striker is expected to travel over the weekend to finalise his medical before completing the transfer to La Liga on Monday.

Raspadori joined Napoli from Sassuolo in 2022 on a €5 million loan deal with an obligation to buy for an additional €28 million. He went on to play a pivotal role in securing two Serie A titles over the past three seasons.
