Thomas Tuchel is reportedly considering a surprise opportunity for Arsenal wonderkid Max Dowman after a series of withdrawals weakened England's senior squad ahead of the new Nations League campaign.

Declan Rice, Cole Palmer, Marcus Rashford, Kobbie Mainoo and Tino Livramento have all withdrawn from the England squad because of fitness-related concerns. Morgan Gibbs-White and James Garner have already been brought in as replacements, while Dowman is among the young players being considered for involvement around the senior camp.

The potential move would not necessarily mean an immediate competitive senior debut. Current reports indicate that Tuchel is considering giving Dowman the chance to train alongside England's senior players, allowing the manager to assess the teenager at close quarters.
