Savannah Guthrie Shares Emotional Mother’s Day Plea as Search for Missing Mother Continues
The Today co-anchor shared a heartfelt video montage featuring photographs and memories of her mother on social media, while once again appealing to the public for information that could assist investigators.
“Mother, daughter, sister, Nonie, we miss you with every breath. We will never stop looking for you. We will never be at peace until we find you,” Guthrie wrote.
Family Continues Appeal for Information
Guthrie also renewed calls for public assistance, stressing that someone may possess information capable of helping authorities locate her mother.
“We need help. Someone knows something that can make the difference,” she added.
“You can be anonymous and the reward remains available. Please keep praying. Bring her home.”
The Federal Bureau of Investigation is reportedly offering a reward of $100,000 (£76,000) for information connected to the case, while the Guthrie family has pledged an additional $1 million (£760,000) reward for information leading to Nancy’s safe recovery.
Savannah Returned to Television Last Month
Guthrie returned to her presenting duties on Today in early April following time away from the programme during the ongoing search efforts.
During her first broadcast back on 6 April, the television presenter emotionally thanked viewers for their support after noticing welcome-back messages displayed by audience members.
“These signs are so beautiful,” she said during the live programme.
“You guys have been so beautiful. I received so many letters. So much kindness to me and my whole family. We feel it. We feel your prayers.”
