Khephren and Marcus Thuram both scored for opposing sides as Juventus triumphed 4-3 over Inter Milan in a pulsating Serie A Derby d’Italia.

The siblings – sons of former France international Lilian Thuram – found the net within six minutes of each other, levelling the match at 3-3 with only eight minutes remaining. However, substitute Vasilije Adžić struck a stunning long-range winner in stoppage time to seal victory for the hosts.

The result marked Juventus’ third consecutive win, maintaining their perfect start to the Serie A season. Inter, meanwhile, remain on three points after suffering back-to-back defeats under new head coach Cristian Chivu.

Former Bournemouth and Newcastle defender Lloyd Kelly opened the scoring in the 14th minute, guiding a composed side-footed volley into the bottom corner. Inter responded on the half-hour mark through Hakan Çalhanoğlu, who rifled in a superb strike from distance.

Kenan Yıldız swiftly restored Juve’s lead with a powerful low drive eight minutes later, before Çalhanoğlu equalised once more in the 65th minute with a thunderous volley from the edge of the area.

Inter then took the lead for the first time with 14 minutes to play as Marcus Thuram headed home from a corner. Yet his younger brother Khephren replied shortly afterwards, rising highest to nod in from a free-kick.

The final twist came in added time, when 19-year-old Adžić unleashed a spectacular 30-yard effort to clinch all three points for Juventus.

Speaking after the match, Khephren Thuram told DAZN:
“After the goal, Marcus said ‘well done’ with the eyes of a brother, but he wasn’t laughing. He teases me about headers – and so does dad – so today I’m happy.”
