Juventus are reportedly interested in signing Chelsea defender Axel Disasi during the January transfer window.
Juventus eye January move for out-of-favour Chelsea defender

Many Chelsea supporters have been calling for the club to strengthen their defence with a new centre-back this winter. Whether that happens remains to be seen. Should promising youngster Josh Acheampong continue to develop and prove himself at Premier League level, the Blues may decide against making an additional signing.
However, one of Chelsea’s current defenders could soon be heading for the exit door, with Italian giants Juventus understood to be preparing an approach for Disasi.
The French international has fallen completely out of Mauricio Pochettino’s first-team plans and is currently not training with the senior squad.
According to Juve Live, Juventus are expected to be without key centre-back Gleison Bremer for at least two months following meniscus surgery. The Serie A club have therefore identified Disasi as a potential short-term solution and are exploring the possibility of taking him on loan with an option to buy.
Bremer’s recent injury setback has left Juventus short of defensive options, and with his recurring fitness issues, the Turin club are keen to reinforce their backline.
For Disasi, a move away from Stamford Bridge looks increasingly necessary. Despite featuring heavily for Chelsea under Pochettino last season and previously excelling at AS Monaco, his future in West London appears to be over.
A switch to Serie A could provide the 26-year-old with the ideal platform to rebuild his career. The slower tempo and tactical style of Italian football may suit Disasi’s strengths and help him rediscover the form that once made him a key player in Ligue 1.
