Dusan Vlahovic is reportedly poised to terminate his contract with Juventus, amid interest from both Manchester United and AC Milan.

The 25-year-old Serbian striker, who has entered the final year of his deal in Turin, is understood to be seeking an exit, with Juventus willing to offload his high salary by mutually agreeing to an early release.

Following a dismal 2024–25 campaign — the worst Premier League season in Manchester United’s history — incoming manager Ruben Amorim is reshaping the squad, particularly in attack. While Matheus Cunha has arrived from Wolves for £62.5 million, and a deal is being pursued for Brentford winger Bryan Mbeumo, the Red Devils are also targeting a new No.9.

With Rasmus Højlund and Joshua Zirkzee netting just seven Premier League goals between them last term, a new striker is high on Amorim’s list. However, budget constraints have led United to seek bargain alternatives in the market.

Vlahovic has emerged as a potential option, especially if he becomes a free agent. But according to The Sun, the former Fiorentina man is leaning towards a move to AC Milan, where he would reunite with ex-Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri, rather than opt for Old Trafford.

Vlahovic joined Juventus in January 2022 in a deal worth more than £72 million, following a stellar spell in Florence. While he hasn't been a complete flop in Turin, he has not quite reached the prolific standards expected of him.

Dusan Vlahovic’s Record at Juventus:
Appearances: 145

• Goals: 58

• Assists: 14

• Honours: Coppa Italia

Despite the inconsistency, he still finished last season with 17 goals in 44 appearances, and has netted 14 times in 36 caps for Serbia.

Former Juventus striker and Serbia international Darko Kovačević, now Sporting Director at Olympiakos, believes a change of scenery would benefit Vlahovic.

"I’d tell Dusan to move right away. It’s not easy to leave Juventus — I say that from personal experience," Kovačević told Gazzetta dello Sport.
"Sometimes you need to challenge yourself again to be happy and reach your top level. Someone like Vlahovic should always be a starter, whether at Juventus or elsewhere."

"We can’t afford him at Olympiakos, but Milan or Manchester United could be good options for Dusan. Maybe even Nottingham Forest — just joking! We share the same ownership, but I only work for Olympiakos."
