Robert Lewandowski has reaffirmed his commitment to Barcelona, insisting that his focus remains on helping the team achieve success rather than worrying about his long-term future.

Speaking to the media ahead of Barcelona’s Champions League clash against Club Brugge, the 37-year-old striker — whose current contract runs until 30 June 2026 — made it clear that he is prioritising his performance and the club’s objectives above all else.

“I’m not in a hurry, I’m calm — it’s not the most important thing right now,” Lewandowski said when asked about a potential contract extension. “The most important thing will be how I feel at the end of the season. I’ll have to decide what to do with my life, but for now, I’m focused on scoring goals and helping the team win titles.”

Lewandowski Feeling Physically Strong After Injury Setback

After enduring a disrupted start to the season due to injury, Lewandowski confirmed that he is now fully fit and ready to contribute to Hansi Flick’s side.

“I feel good after the injury, physically very well,” he explained. “I played a few minutes three days ago, and what matters most is how I can help the team win. It doesn’t matter how the season starts — what matters is how it ends.”

The Polish international returned to action recently and remains determined to play a decisive role as Barcelona look to maintain their strong form in both domestic and European competitions.

Agent Dismisses Exit Rumours

Speculation surrounding Lewandowski’s future has intensified in recent weeks, with reports suggesting that clubs in Saudi Arabia were monitoring his situation. However, his agent Pini Zahavi has dismissed such claims, insisting that no decisions have been made regarding the striker’s next steps.

“Lewandowski’s contract with Barcelona expires in the summer of 2026, and no decisions have been made yet,” Zahavi said. “We’ll have to wait and see what happens in the coming days,” he added, firmly denying rumours linking the player with Saudi clubs.

Lewandowski’s experience and leadership continue to be invaluable to Barcelona, both on and off the pitch, as the Catalan giants prepare for another crucial test in their Champions League campaign.
