The French midfielder received a booking during Madrid’s 2–1 first-leg defeat to Bayern Munich at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, triggering an automatic suspension for the return fixture at the Allianz Arena.

Tchouaméni was cautioned in the 37th minute for a foul on compatriot Michael Olise, who delivered an impressive performance as Bayern secured a crucial away victory.
