Borussia Dortmund are confident they have won the race to sign Sunderland midfielder Jobe Bellingham.
Borussia Dortmund Confident of Securing Jobe Bellingham from Sunderland as Midfielder Follows in Brother’s Footsteps

Sources at the Bundesliga club indicate that the 19-year-old has given his word to join, following discussions with Dortmund’s sporting director Sebastian Kehl in Ibiza last week.
The proposed transfer fee is expected to be in the region of £25 million, with his former club Birmingham City set to receive 15 per cent of the total due to a sell-on clause.
Bellingham had held talks with Eintracht Frankfurt last week and also engaged in discussions with RB Leipzig.
However, Dortmund have consistently believed they held a distinct advantage, offering the England youth international a similar development pathway to that of his elder brother, Jude Bellingham.
Jobe achieved promotion to the Premier League with Sunderland last month but has reportedly been determined to move to the Bundesliga as the next step in his progression.
Jude Bellingham has spoken highly of his time in Germany, and his positive experiences have significantly influenced the family’s perspective and decision-making.
Dortmund finished fourth in the Bundesliga this season, thereby securing qualification for the UEFA Champions League.
They are also set to compete in the expanded FIFA Club World Cup this summer, where they have been drawn in Group F alongside Fluminense, Ulsan Hyundai, and Mamelodi Sundowns.
