Bayern Munich president Herbert Hainer has issued a firm response to growing speculation linking Michael Olise with a move to Real Madrid, insisting the Bundesliga champions have no intention of selling the French winger this summer.

The statement comes amid reports that Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez is preparing to make a major statement in the transfer market following his re-election on Sunday.

During his presidential campaign, Pérez reportedly pledged that, if re-elected, he would seek to break the club’s transfer record by spending €150 million (£127 million/$174 million) to bring a new ‘Galáctico’ signing to the Santiago Bernabéu.

Speculation has since linked Bayern star Olise with those ambitions.

However, Hainer made Bayern’s position clear in comments to Bild, dismissing suggestions that the German club would entertain negotiations.

“Michael Olise is a Bayern Munich player who still has a long-term contract — and we are not a club that sells players.

“If Florentino Pérez wants to send us an offer — which hasn’t happened yet — he can save himself the trouble.”

Olise’s Outstanding Season Strengthens Bayern’s Position

Olise joined Bayern Munich in the summer of 2024 from Crystal Palace and remains under contract with the Bundesliga club until June 2029.

The 24-year-old enjoyed an exceptional campaign and quickly established himself as one of Europe’s standout attacking players.

He contributed 15 goals and 21 assists in 32 Bundesliga appearances, helping Bayern reclaim the league title.

His performances earned him the Bundesliga Player of the Season award and a place in the UEFA Champions League Team of the Season after registering five goals and seven assists across 13 matches in the competition.

Focus Turns to World Cup Duty

Despite increasing transfer speculation, Olise’s immediate focus remains international football.

The France international is currently training with the national squad ahead of what is expected to be his first FIFA World Cup appearance.

France are scheduled to begin their campaign against Senegal on 16 June.

For now, Bayern’s message appears straightforward — Michael Olise remains central to their long-term plans and the club has no intention of opening discussions over a summer exit.
