Türkiye, Egypt and Saudi Arabia held talks on the Gaza peace plan, Syria and Strait of Hormuz tensions, as diplomatic efforts continue to prevent further regional escalation. Türkiye, Egypt and Qatar also condemned renewed attacks in Gaza, with health officials reporting 10 more deaths and 25 injuries.

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has held separate telephone conversations with his Egyptian counterpart Badr Abdelatty and Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan, focusing on the Gaza peace process and wider regional developments.
Fidan said the discussions examined challenges affecting the implementation of the Gaza peace plan and possible steps to keep the process moving forward.
The ministers also discussed developments in Syria, the situation in Palestine and tensions surrounding the Strait of Hormuz.

THREE COUNTRIES CALL FOR CONTINUED COOPERATION

Fidan said Türkiye, Egypt and Saudi Arabia shared a commitment to peace and stability in the region.
He stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation and coordination among the three countries as they respond to ongoing regional crises.
The discussions come as diplomatic efforts continue to support the implementation of a broader plan aimed at ending the conflict in Gaza.

TÜRKİYE, EGYPT AND QATAR CONDEMN GAZA ATTACKS

Türkiye, Egypt and Qatar, which have played mediation roles in the Gaza conflict, jointly condemned renewed Israeli attacks in the enclave.
In a statement, the three countries expressed concern over continued violations of the ceasefire and warned that the escalation could undermine international and regional efforts to advance the peace process.
They said diplomatic efforts were continuing to implement the Comprehensive Plan to End the Gaza Conflict, pointing to recent meetings and what they described as constructive developments in negotiations.

CASUALTIES CONTINUE TO RISE

Gaza's Health Ministry said 10 Palestinians were killed and 25 wounded during the previous 24 hours.
According to the ministry, the Palestinian death toll since the conflict began in October 2023 has risen to 73,417, while 174,360 people have been wounded.
The ministry also reported that alleged Israeli violations of the truce had killed 1,283 Palestinians and injured 4,248 others.

REGIONAL ISSUES REMAIN ON THE DIPLOMATIC AGENDA

Beyond Gaza, Fidan and his counterparts discussed the latest developments in Syria and the situation surrounding the Strait of Hormuz.
The talks reflect broader diplomatic efforts by regional powers to prevent further escalation and maintain channels of communication amid continuing conflicts and security tensions across the Middle East.
Türkiye, Egypt and Saudi Arabia are expected to continue consultations as efforts to support regional stability and the Gaza peace process move forward.
