Pop star Katy Perry and actor Orlando Bloom have reportedly parted ways after nearly a decade together. According to multiple sources, the high-profile couple have decided to end their relationship, with insiders suggesting the separation will become official following the conclusion of Perry’s tour.

The speculation gained momentum when TMZ reported that Bloom appeared solo at the wedding celebration of Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez, described by one source as his “first public outing as a single man”.

“He’s the life of the party, and he’s going to hit the dance floor hard,” a guest reportedly told the outlet.

Another source commented on the exclusive guest list, saying: “90% of the people at the wedding are rather dull, but the remaining 10% — including Orlando, Leonardo [DiCaprio], and Jeff — are going to make it a night to remember.”

Reports that Perry would not be attending the lavish event further fuelled rumours of a split.

An insider quoted by Page Six claimed that the couple had been planning to part ways, but agreed to delay the announcement until after Perry’s tour wrapped up. “It’s over,” the source stated. “They’re waiting until her tour ends before they officially go their separate ways.”

Career Pressure and Clashing Worlds

Additional reports point to increasing tension in the relationship, particularly linked to professional stress. A source told People magazine that Perry had been feeling “deeply frustrated” following the lukewarm reception of her latest album, which in turn put strain on their relationship.

“Orlando was supportive, but it did create a lot of tension,” the insider noted.

The pair first met at a Golden Globes after-party in 2016 and quickly became one of Hollywood’s most talked-about couples. They announced their engagement in 2019, though a wedding date was never confirmed. In 2020, they welcomed their first child, a daughter named Daisy.

Bloom previously opened up about the complexities of their relationship in an interview with Flaunt magazine, acknowledging the differences between their careers and personalities.

“We’re in two very different pools,” he said. “Her pool isn’t one I necessarily understand, and I don’t think mine is one she fully understands either.”

He admitted that their dynamic could be difficult:

“Sometimes things are really, really, really challenging. I won’t lie. We definitely wrestle with our emotions and creativity.”

Perry has also addressed the ups and downs in past interviews, suggesting that while they often disagree, those moments ultimately bring them closer together.
