Manchester City have confirmed the signing of goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli from Chelsea on a one-year contract.
Man City Transfers: Goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli Joins from Chelsea

The 33-year-old, who served as third-choice goalkeeper at Stamford Bridge, made just one appearance during his four-year spell with the west London club.
Bettinelli will replace 39-year-old Scott Carson in the City squad, following the veteran goalkeeper’s departure after six years with the Premier League champions.
“It’s an honour to sign for City. I’ve admired from afar what this club have achieved since Pep Guardiola’s arrival, and now I’m excited to be part of building on that success,” Bettinelli said in an official statement.
“I can’t wait to work with Pep, Xabi Mancisidor, and the excellent goalkeepers already at the club, and to see their methods up close.
“Hopefully, I can make a contribution in training, in the dressing room, and on the pitch as we look to win more silverware over the coming year.”
Bettinelli becomes City’s second signing of the summer, following the recent arrival of left-back Rayan Aït-Nouri from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
