Liverpool have reached an agreement with Bournemouth to sign Hungary international Milos Kerkez in a deal worth approximately £40 million (nearly $54 million). The 21-year-old left-back is expected to undergo a medical examination next week before putting pen to paper on a five-year contract with the Premier League champions, according to The Guardian, as reported by UNN.
Liverpool Agree £40 Million Deal for Bournemouth's Milos Kerkez

Kerkez Impresses Ahead of Move to Anfield
Kerkez has enjoyed two standout seasons at Bournemouth since his arrival from AZ Alkmaar in July 2023, playing a pivotal role in helping the Cherries finish ninth in the Premier League last season.
His performances have now earned him a high-profile move to Anfield, where he will bolster Liverpool's options on the left side of defence.
Changes Expected in Liverpool's Left-Back Department
Liverpool currently have two senior left-backs in their ranks: Andy Robertson and Kostas Tsimikas. However, the future of both players is uncertain.
Robertson has reportedly attracted interest from Atlético Madrid, while Tsimikas may depart the club after spending much of the past five years as a back-up to the Scotland international.
Kerkez’s arrival signals a potential reshuffle in the Reds’ defensive unit as new manager Arne Slot looks to reshape his squad.
Bournemouth Line Up Replacement for Kerkez
Bournemouth, meanwhile, have already moved swiftly to secure a replacement for Kerkez, completing the signing of Adrien Truffert from French side Rennes.
The 22-year-old will now compete with Julio Soler, who joined in January, for a spot in the starting XI under manager Andoni Iraola.
Busy Summer at Anfield
Liverpool are actively strengthening their squad ahead of the new season. The club have already completed a £29.5 million deal for Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen, who is expected to add quality and depth at right-back.
They are also closing in on the signing of Florian Wirtz, also from Leverkusen. The highly-rated German playmaker underwent a medical on Friday, with a £100 million move to Merseyside nearing completion.
