Adidas have officially launched their highly anticipated Newcastle United SPZL FC capsule collection, with the new range of exclusive sportswear made available to fans from 9am on Friday, 17 October.
Newcastle United’s SPZL FC Capsule Collection Goes on Sale as Adidas Unveil New Range

The drop follows weeks of growing excitement among supporters, after promotional signs began appearing in the club shop earlier this month.
A Stylish Collaboration Rooted in Football Culture
The collection was first teased through Newcastle United’s official social media channels, featuring promotional images with former club legend Laurent Robert alongside Anthony Gordon, giving fans a glimpse of key pieces in the line-up.
A statement on the club’s website described the collection in detail:
“At the helm of the Newcastle United FC capsule collection is the Newcastle United SPZL F.C. trainer, a bespoke edition of the SS25 Roelee silhouette.
The coveted Todmorden SPZL smock returns as a hero apparel piece, replete with interchangeable Velcro badges featuring both the club crest and hallmark SPZL branding.
A flocked sweatshirt bears Newcastle United’s signature font alongside the SPZL Mod Trefoil, while a co-branded jersey T-shirt rounds out the range.”
The SPZL line is renowned for merging adidas Originals heritage with modern football aesthetics, celebrating terrace culture and the timeless appeal of football fashion.
Adidas Celebrate Global Football Heritage
According to Adidas, the SPZL concept “bridges the worlds of adidas Originals and adidas Football”, acting as a cultural platform that celebrates the connection between the sport and its global fanbase.
“Whilst the foundations of SPZL F.C. are built on neutrality, it will act as a vehicle for partnering with football clubs from adidas’ sporting portfolio. SPZL F.C. celebrates the enduring appeal of adidas to football fans globally, both on and off the pitch,” the brand said in a statement.
Newcastle’s Adidas Partnership Strengthens
Newcastle United reunited with Adidas in 2024, rekindling a partnership that evokes strong nostalgia among fans. The launch of the 2025–26 matchday wear and training range earlier this summer was met with huge enthusiasm, with many items quickly selling out.
The club’s kits have proved particularly popular, especially the away shirt, which paid homage to the iconic 1995 design worn by stars such as David Ginola.
This new SPZL FC capsule collection represents another step in strengthening the club’s commercial and cultural identity, combining classic football heritage with contemporary streetwear appeal.
