Manchester City forward Kerolin produced a sensational performance, netting a hat-trick in Brazil’s commanding 6–0 victory over Bolivia at the 2025 Copa América.

Making her first appearance at this summer’s tournament, Kerolin led the line for the reigning champions and featured for the full 90 minutes at Estadio Gonzalo Pozo Ripalda.

Brazil made a confident start and took the lead in the 13th minute following a short corner routine that found Luany, who fired emphatically into the roof of the net from close range.

Kerolin nearly doubled the advantage shortly after with a sublime chip that struck the post, signalling her growing influence in the match.

The second goal arrived in the 32nd minute, as Kerolin delivered a precise pass to Fatima, whose effort forced a fine save from Erika Sanchez. The rebound fell kindly to Luany, who slotted home her second of the night.

Kerolin remained at the heart of Brazil’s attacking play and was brought down inside the box before the break, winning a penalty. She stepped up and coolly converted, scoring her first goal of the tournament and Brazil’s third of the night.

After the interval, Brazil managed their lead with composure, while Bolivia remained compact defensively, limiting clear-cut opportunities for much of the second half.

However, Kerolin struck again with just over 10 minutes remaining, collecting the ball in the box, composing herself, and curling a precise finish into the bottom-left corner.

Her hat-trick was completed moments later with a superb dipping volley from the edge of the area, leaving Sanchez with no chance. The goal brought her level with Paraguay’s Claudia Martinez as the competition’s joint top scorer.

There was further drama in the final stages as Bolivia’s Angelina Rivero received a red card, before Amanda Gutierres added Brazil’s sixth in the closing moments.

The emphatic result ensures Brazil maintain a perfect start, winning both of their opening Group B fixtures. They now top the group heading into a pivotal clash with Paraguay on 22 July.
