EastEnders star Tameka Empson admitted she felt “emotional” after being wrongly banished from The Celebrity Traitors.
Tameka Empson Becomes Emotional After Shock Banishment from The Celebrity Traitors

The actress was sent home from Ardross Castle during Wednesday’s (15 October) episode after her fellow contestants incorrectly accused her of being a Traitor.
Speaking on the spin-off show The Celebrity Traitors: Uncloaked, Tameka reflected on the moment she revealed the truth to her castmates.
“I think Claudia [Winkleman] saw the faithfulness in me,” she said. “And now I think about it, being a Traitor is a headache. It’s a lot of game-playing, and you’re going to be up later than anybody else.
“I think it was right for me to be a Faithful, and I really wanted to be a great Faithful. I had plans to lead the Faithfuls to victory, but that was cut short.”
Although disappointed to leave the competition early, the 48-year-old star described her experience at the Scottish castle as unforgettable — with the food and location standing out as highlights.
“I had a really great time. Scotland is beautiful and the castle is amazing,” she said.
“Oh my God, it was incredible. And, you know, we’re travelling in style in that iconic convoy of cars which I adored. I couldn’t get anybody to give me a key — and I’m a very good driver.
“That feeling as you drive up to the castle… it’s amazing when you watch it on TV, but in real life, it takes your breath away.”
Tameka also shared how much she enjoyed the breakfast ritual in the castle.
“The breakfast table is everything that it was. That’s a highlight. The breakfast is good. I tell you, the food was very lovely, and I think I might have put on… let’s say one pound.”
Meanwhile, the episode also saw the shock “murder” of Olympic diver Tom Daley, making him the second victim of Traitors Jonathan Ross, Cat Burns and Alan Carr.
Upon receiving the note revealing his fate, the 31-year-old athlete reacted with a mixture of humour and disappointment.
“Oh dear. Look at that. Well that didn’t take long, did it? I am gutted to be leaving the game,” Tom said.
“I think I was murdered because people will see me as a threat and they think I’ll weasel them out eventually. Now I guess I’ll go and do one final dive into my grave.”
The Celebrity Traitors continues on BBC One and iPlayer.
