Manchester City could face a major setback as goalkeeper Ederson is likely to miss the final day of the Premier League season and the upcoming FA Cup final following an injury sustained during their match against Tottenham.

Ederson was injured after a collision with Christian Romero at the back post while dealing with a cross. Despite the incident, no action was taken against Romero, and Ederson remained on the ground for several minutes receiving treatment.

The Brazilian goalkeeper tried to continue playing for a brief period but seemed to struggle, misplacing his first pass before being substituted for Stefan Ortega shortly afterwards. His availability for the last Premier League fixture against West Ham, where City hope to secure the title, is now in doubt.

Following his substitution, Ederson appeared frustrated at the decision, engaging in a heated exchange with Pep Guardiola on the touchline. Guardiola had to restrain him as he returned to the bench.

Ederson expressed his disappointment by kicking out at a nearby object and looked visibly upset as he took his seat. Matheus Nunes was seen consoling him, marking the fourth time this season that Ederson has been substituted due to injury.

Later, Ederson was observed in tears while seated on the bench. Kevin De Bruyne was also replaced during the same period after receiving a kick earlier in the game, adding to Manchester City's injury concerns.
