The Former Manchester United And Wales Icon Is Alleged To Have Thrown His Ex-Partner Out Of Their Hotel Room Naked During An Argument

48 year old former Manchester United and Wales icon Ryan Giggs is on trial for domestic abuse, after his ex-girlfriend Kate Greville and her sister Emma Greville was able to take the football star to court to court.

Ms Greville described the relationship between her and Giggs as: "He went from my best friend and soulmate into abuse and nasty for reasons I cannot fathom.

But I was addicted to him, it continued to be an on-off relationship.

I couldn't get him out of my head, he was that entrenched into my subconscious".

She also accused him of being controlling and coercive behavior between 2017 and 2020, when she left him after years of abuse.

An incident she recalled for the court entailed her being left in a hotel hallway naked, after a bitter argument with Giggs.

Ryan Giggs denies all charges.

On the 20th of June this year, Ryan Giggs stepped down as Wales manager after backlash from Wales fans took a tole on the former Manchester United star.

Manchester Crown Court were supplied with footage from Ms Greville's conversation with police in November of 2020, which showed her accusing Ryan Giggs of head butting her in the chest like Zinedine Zidane.

Prosecutors told the court that the footage seen came after she was assaulted for trying to move out of Giggs's home, Ryan Giggs also denies this charge.

During his time with United, Giggs won 13 Premier League titles, two Champions League trophies, four FA Cups, and three League Cups.

Whilst managing Wales he won 65 caps for the team.

Both Wales and Manchester United clubs have disowned Ryan Giggs, but no material action has been taken as of yet.
