New Zealanders Win Battle Against The Government Over Lock-Down Rules

A high court judge in New Zealand ruled that the system their government put in place to control it's borders and their lock-down rules for citizens inside the country were unlawful and went against the country's freedom of individual movement written in the country's constitution.

New Zealanders both overseas and in the country have won millions of New Zealand Dollars in compensation along with plane tickets being awarded to citizens overseas who couldn't come back during newly deemed unlawful compulsory lock-down rules.

The New Zealand High Court stated: “The compulsory lock-down rules and border closures violated the rights of citizens to move freely as enshrined in our constitution, and those abroad weren't allowed back into the country which violated their rights”.
