A Scottish Woman Living In Canada Was Killed In A Hit-And-Run Incident

Toronto police are looking for a man seen in a white Mercedes AMG GT convertible after he ran over and killed a Scottish woman who had relocated to the Canadian city.

Erin Yoxall was 30 when the Tranent, East Lothian, native was struck and killed by the driver before he sped off into the night.

She had relocated to Canada and had lived in Toronto for 8 years working at the cities Vector Institute For Artificial Intelligence, a job her mother said: “She'd always wanted”.

Toronto police have issued warrants for the car and the man driving it, people who may have seen the accident or have seen an ice white convertible Mercedes with scuff marks on the front recently, are advised to call the police.
