Former two-time darts world champion Ted “The Count” Hankey has been sentenced to 2 years in jail and registered as a sex offender after he was found guilty of sexually assaulting a teenage girl.

The 54 year old had raped the teenage girl after pinning her down, telling her: “Don't fight it” and “Take it you little whore”.

The BDO world champion of 2000 and 2009 plead guilty to all charges facing him.

The judge stated that: “Had there not been a CCTV camera near the scene of the girl's rape, Mr Hankey could've denied everything”.

Mrs Hankey has told the media that she's divorcing the disgraced darts champion and their kids don't ever want to speak to him again.
